Each of our collections include full day coverage, beginning 3 hours before your ceremony right through to 3/4 dances into your party. This however is not set in stone and can be adjusted so that you get exactly what you want. So if you only want a few hours covered that wouldn’t be a problem!

I absolutely love seeing photographs printed in a wedding album and I think you will too! We still have our grannies wedding album from 1959 and if she didn’t get an album we would never have seen her photographs. You are not only investing in your photographs for yourself but for the generations after you too! Our kids love sitting looking at our wedding album.

FAQs - Wedding Photography Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, I require a £200 booking fee to secure your date. With the amount of weddings I take on each year and the amount of enquiries I get your wedding date is not secure with me until a booking fee is paid and a wee online contract is signed.

  • So all of my options include full day coverage for your wedding. This is usually about 3 hours before your ceremony until 4 dances into your wedding party. I always find this the best for ensuring your story is complete in your wedding album. This is not set in stone and you don’t have to have me for that long. The wedding packages available in my brochure can be changed so that you get exactly what you want with your wedding photography.

  • I tend to shoot most of my weddings on my own but if you would like another photographer that can always be added on. For example if you want both houses covered for morning prep and they are 15 mins or more apart I would recommend adding on another photographer. I am extremely lucky to be a member of the Professional Photographers Association of Northern Ireland so when a couple ask to add on a second shooter I always bring along another full time wedding photographer.

  • I would always advise couples that it takes me 8-12 weeks maximum to edit your full gallery. Sometimes during quieter periods I can have your gallery finished in 4 weeks. It all just depends on what time of year you get married and how much editing time Henry & Ivy let me into the office for.

  • One thing couples can sometimes not think about is if one of their suppliers is ill and through being self employed we are the only member of staff in the business. I am extremely lucky to be a member of the Professional Photographers Association of Northern Ireland along with the SWPP & BIPP. So I will always have cover if and when I need it. Through being in these associations I have made many friends who are world class photographers, so you wouldn’t need to worry that I would just be sending Henry & Ivy to photograph your wedding instead of me, I’ll start doing that when they’re a bit older. Rachel did drive over me on the quad once a few years ago and I managed 3 weddings on crutches, that was great fun!

  • It all depends on what is happening on the wedding day. Sometimes galleries have 500 photographs and sometimes galleries have had 1300+. I would tend to do a mixture of you guys having a laugh with each other, formal portraits with yourselves and your families mixed with a good selection of reportage images.

  • I now deliver all of my finished galleries on a private online gallery. You are free to download all of the images as high resolution files and save them in multiple places. Your online gallery can be shared with all of your friends and family so that everyone can relive the day in full.

  • Yes most certainly! I have a wee office in my house in Annalong, County Down and I have several sample albums that you can look through. I love meeting up with couples and having a good chat about their wedding!
