It really doesn’t feel that long ago that Emma & Jason drove from Durham to our wee flat in Newcastle Upon Tyne to meet up for a chat and book me to photograph their wedding at home in Northern Ireland, time really has flown by! The day was started by getting up bright and early to head to Portadown, our first stop was Emma’s dads house to photograph the girls get ready. Flowers were by The Flower Studio, Hair by Salon 105 and makeup was by Beauty by Sarah McCaffrey. I know I say how calm houses always are the morning of a wedding, but this was out on a level of it’s own! Even after making a visit to photograph the lads and then coming back to Emma at 11:30, with the service being at 12, everyone was still super super calm with no last minute rush in sight! With the festival of flight being on in Newcastle this could only mean one thing, an absolute scorching day! The service was held at St. Saviours Church, Portadown. After the service we headed straight to the venue, The Mill at Ballydugan which is becoming a nice wee regular for us this summer, what a fantastic venue to keep coming back to! It was great to see The Just Adam Band do their thing and making sure the dance floor was filled! It was also good to meet and see Mr Sooty the Chimney Sweep in action. Thank you so much for having us take your photographs, it was a brilliant day all round! Here are a few images below of what we got up to.
