Yesterday saw us back in Enniskillen once again, for not shooting many weddings in this part of the country before it has been brilliant getting to such a beautiful part of Northern Ireland so much!! I started the day off by heading to Lisburn to photograph the girls get ready for the big day, hair was by Colette Fitzpatrick & makeup was by Carrie Marley. There were no nerves at all when I arrived and it was clear to see everyone was keen to be ready and get round to the church bang on time (maybe because there was a bet on between Alyson & Colin, lol). The craic was great and I knew that it was going to be a brilliant day. I then made the very short drive round the corner to see the lads arrive at the Church before going back to Alyson’s to capture one of my favourite moments I get to see at quite a few weddings, dads first reaction to seeing his daughter in her dress for the first time! After the ceremony we then made our way to the Killyhevlin Lakeside Hotel for the reception, the wind definitely decided to pick up a bit here but that didn’t stop everyone going out for a few photographs and a very brave bridal party doing the bouncy on the jetty. It was so nice to hear that Alyson’s parents had their wedding reception here 33 years ago and they had a photograph taken between two of the trees in the gardens, so we definitely made sure we got a shot of Colin & Alyson between the same two trees! Thank you so much for having me take your photographs, both of your families made me feel so welcome and everyone was up for a laugh! I hope you two have a great honeymoon and wish you many years of happiness! Looking forward to seeing you both when I edit your images, for now here is a small selection of what we got up to.
