WOW!! What a wedding yesterday!! It was perfect from start to end!! I’ve known Shannen for as long as I can remember, growing up across the road from each other and being in the same gang in good old Church Meadow, so when her and Matthew asked me to be their wedding photographer I was super excited! I started the day by going to the Murray’s house to photograph the girls get ready for the day ahead, it was full of laughter and the odd wee tear, Shannen was super excited to be marrying her best friend! Hair was by Kirstie McConnell, makeup was by Julie Quinn and flowers were by the fantastic as always Charlottes Web Floristry. I then made a quick visit to see the lads in Annalong to make sure Matthew and his beard were ready. I then went back to Shannen’s house to capture the perfect moment when David saw his beautiful daughter in her dress for the first time. The short drive was then made to the top of the road to Mourne Presbyterian Church where the service was held. It was great to have a tasty ice cream after the service, thanks again Meagan(Graham’s Ice Cream). We then made a quick stop off at Dundrum Castle for a few photographs before going to The Mill at Ballydugan where the reception was held. It was a fantastic day all round, thankfully with the weather staying on our side allowing us to get out into some stunning lighting for a few images by the lake. Thanks again for having us take your photographs, we hope you had as much as laugh as Bethany and I did! It was also great to work with Han & Dan Media for the first time, great videographers and a great couple! Here are a few photos of what we got up to.
